General Notices

Definition :

COTREP works with every player in the plastic packaging chain to study the impact of the packaging's components on its recycling.

The knowledge base thus created through General Notices is intended as a tool to be used by manufacturers when designing new packaging.

Knowledge base :

Based on the reality of packaging recycling, COTREP studies the impact of the various components in a packaging product, i.e.:

• plastics forming the bottle body,
• closure system,
• label or sleeve,
• glue,
• ink.

Every data sheet sets out the impacts of the studied packaging on the recycling process and ends with the COTREP notice for the component.

General Notices are made available on this website as they are produced. The Notices are revised in response to the technical and technological developments that come to COTREP's knowledge.
